“I got hit from behind by another rider, then crashed, and that bent my footrest assembly, I realised that the footpeg itself was beginning to unwind and come loose. As I rode along I tried to turn it back in with my foot, I ran straight on at the chicane and got a ride-through penalty, so after that it was finished.”

As World Supersport does not head to America for the next round, the Nürburgring, in Germany, will host round six of the WSS series.
